Before you use the Gallery Upload program to send a DP2 order to SimplePhoto:
Make sure that DP2's "Process Commands" is running and pointed to the proper folder. The Gallery Upload program writes files to the "DP2 Scripts Folder" (or "DP2 Job Scripts Folder") in the Gallery Upload program settings.
Make sure that the proper DP2 render engine is running. The Gallery Upload program settings screen has a "Printer Queue" setting that stores the DP2 printer queue name. The DP2 render engine that works this printer queue must be running.
Follow these instructions to upload a DP2 order using the Gallery Upload program:
Type the DP2 order ID in the "Order Number" field.
If the order you are uploading should have all images uploaded into a single gallery, chose the "Candid-Style Gallery" option.
If the order you are uploading should have one gallery created for every student uploaded and there is SubjectInfo associated with your DP2 order, chose the "Student Portrait-Style Gallery" option.
Type a descriptive name of the order you are uploading in the "Group Name" field. Examples include "ABC High School Fall 2014" or "Anderson Wedding".
If you are uploading student galleries with SubjectInfo data, chose the appropriate SubjectInfo column from the "Select Password Data Field" menu.
Leave the "Unique Student Identifier" field blank. This feature is used in the rare cases when a field other than the gallery password is used to uniquely identify student records.
If you would like to associate the uploaded gallery with a photographer price list, type the name of the price list in the "Price List" field. SimplePhoto will attempt to find a price list with a matching name when the upload is processed. If the Price List field is set to "<None>" or no match is found, the photographer's default price list will be associated with the uploaded galleries.
If email addresses or mobile phone number are stored in SubjectInfo for the order you are uploading and you would like to send gallery notifications using this information, type the SubjectInfo field name that stores the email addresses or mobile numbers in the "Additional Subject Info Fields" text box. Example SubjectInfo field names are: "Email", "EmailAddress", "MobilePhone", or "Phone". Contact support@simplephoto.com for further assistance with email marketing settings in SimplePhoto.
Click the "Process" button to process the order immediately. To queue several jobs to be processed sequentially, click the "Add to Queue" button after each job's information has been entered and then click the "Process Queue" button when the desired jobs have been added to the queue.
Once the DP2 processing and FTP upload is complete you will see an alert message.
