I've placed a test order and the order was not imported using the DP2 Bridge. What should I check first?
One common issue with first time DP2 Bridge customers is trying to fulfill an order placed in a gallery uploaded using a method other than the DP2 Bridge Gallery Upload program. Please be aware that only orders placed in galleries uploaded using the DP2 Bridge will be sent to the DP2 Bridge for fulfillment. The normal workflow is for the lab to import a job into DP2, then use the DP2 Bridge to upload the job to SimplePhoto.
Can a SimplePhoto product be setup in a way that causes more than one product to be populated in DP2 or ROES?
See our help page Populate Multiple Products.
How do I setup lab products so that customers can select background images for their greenscreen images?
See our help page Populate Layout Options.
This page goes through the two main techniques we've seen... overriding a DP2 Layout ID based on a product option selection or populating a background image file based on a product option selection.
Can I use the DP2 Bridge Gallery Upload program to upload images but not have orders sent to the DP2 Bridge Order Import program for some specific jobs?
Yes. The solution is to make sure the price list associated with the job begins with the text "NODP2". This will cause order data files not to be generated when orders are placed, even if the gallery was originally uploaded using the DP2 Bridge.
Can email addresses stored in DP2 SubjectInfo be sent with DP2 Bridge uploads so customers can be notified when galleries are available?
If email addresses are stored in SubjectInfo for the order you are uploading and you would like these email addresses sent to SimplePhoto, type the SubjectInfo field name that stores the email address in the "Additional Subject Info Fields" text box. The SubjectInfo field name is typically "Email" or "EmailAddress". Contact support@simplephoto.com for further assistance with email marketing settings in SimplePhoto to make sure emails will be sent when DP2 Bridge uploads are processed by SimplePhoto.
I have a SimplePhoto lab account that allows me to administer Lab Products, but my lab account does not allow me to manage photographer accounts. How do I grant a SimplePhoto photographer access to my lab's products?
You can enter the appropriate "Lab Code" for the lab product group to give a photographer account access to the necessary lab product group. To find out the lab code for a product group, click the "Rename" button next to an existing lab product group and the lab code will appear. The lab code should be added to the photographer account by clicking the "Price Lists" tab, then click the "Lab Products" link. There you will see a "Lab Code:" field. Once the code has been added to the photographer account the lab product group should be visible by the photographer as expected.
How do I clear the "Job Queue" in the older version of the Gallery Upload program?
Close the Gallery Upload program. Then go to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SimplePhoto\DP2Bridge and delete the file named "JobQueue.txt". Then when you open the Gallery Upload program again you should see the queued job count is 0.
